Hi Talisa! What a great blog space - It's nice to see the work (Christ Almighty!) that I have written about. It makes me smile. You are a brilliant artist!
Anyway, I wanted to stop by and say thanks for the compliments on the novelette. It means a lot to me. I have really been enjoying my thesis lately - and it feels good to almost be catching that glimmer of light at the end of this long and winding tunnel.
Not to be rambling, but have I told you about the Wind Swimmers? You know, I actually went through with that sealife sculpture idea - you can see a slide show of them at www.myspace.com/denisestanley That was a huge learning experience for me - and quite the distraction from my thesis, I must admit.
Welcome to my patch of cyberspace. Please, take a seat, can I get you a cup of virtual tea? I can offer everything from dandelion chai to bancha and back or whatever you happen to find in your cupboard.
My name is Talisa, I am an artist and educator. This is an on-line archive of stuff that interests, entertains and informs me, with links to relevant sites (linkbacks are found in the title of each post) and postings of my observations, insights and artworks. Thanks for dropping by.
