Joao Machado

"Everybody needs a map, a way to see the world. We need maps to understand the physical world we live in. We look to maps to understand the spiritual world, as in astrology, for example. We need maps to understand each other in the constant exploration. An exploration of both the extent of the galaxy and the depths of our own inner space."

Lunar Eclipse

The most awesome display on earth hung in the sky enthralling my Japanese visitor and I. We lay on a blanket in the backyard completely entranced. Sugoi said she. Sugoi said I.

Seagulls

This is my kind of project. A blog requesting people send photos, artwork of what they see when lying down looking up.
This photo is taken at Ness Hill, UK.
My painting of the sky was accepted. Yippee.
