Seedpods

I have a class teaching linocut printing this term. When selecting images for a ppp I came across this artist. Her work is so beautiful. Angie Lewin's prints have a very contemporary style with a retro 1950's feel.
Angie Lewin's current work is based on the plant forms, especially seed heads, seen against sea and sky, on her walks on the North Norfolk coast. She is concentrating on linocut and wood engraving. She prints relatively small editions of rarely more than 35.
