Go Talk to Momo

Housebound because of an awful dose of flu I have been consoling my self reading 'Momo' by Michael Ende. The tale of anti-consumerism written in the seventies before the world really did go grey is cautionary and inspiring for those of us who make time to indulge in slow living.

Another good book to read if you have the time is 'in praise of Slow' by Carl Honore. It took me ages to read because I kept falling asleep whilst reading it. Not because it's boring but because it is all about giving yourself the time to slow right down. Rest. Cook. Garden. Paint. Talk. Make love.
