This image by Lilie Melo from France is part of the Paper Cranes Project by an artist named Liz. She is folding 1000 cranes and sending them to contributors around the world. My year 11 digital imaging class joined the project and have designed their photo which will be sent back to Liz via flickr. As the cranes are so simple and sweet and have historical and cutural significance as symbols of peace I see the project as a venture uniting kindred spirits and am excited to be a part of it.
