Worth His Weight in Gold
Andy Goldsworthy is a British artist who constructs beautiful site-specific environmental sculpture. He says making art is like picking potatoes. These are some of the most gorgeous potatoes I have ever seen. The work relates poetically to the site and often is temporary, decay being part of the sculpture. I like the way he embraces the wild randomness of nature and contributes his delicate but definite touch.
